Mountatin West Conference Week Two – Preview, TV, Starting Time, Betting Line

The top teams in the Mountain West Conference took care of business while Wyoming pulled off an impressive upset in the middle of the night. Such is the life of the MWC. The conference gets several nationally broadcast games this week with a chance to make the conference look good.

The Cowboys had one of the biggest wins in a long time in a wildly exciting overtime game versus Northern Illinois. Too bad no one was awake to see the game. Wyoming gets a national audience for week two, but have to travel to Nebraska to face the Cornhuskers.

  • Live Stats: Here.
  • Line: Utah State +16. Over/Under: 59.

On talent alone, this game should be a rout. USC is coming off of an embarrassing loss to Alabama in the season opener. The Trojans could fall to 0-2 unless they respect the Aggies in this game.

Nevada-Notre Dame

  • Location: Hughes Stadium, Fort Collins, Colorado
  • TV: NBC

Nevada barely held on to beat Cal Poly in week one, while Notre Dame is still angry from a tough loss to Texas. Expect the Fighting Irish to dominate this mismatch.

The Vikings are a talented team that absolutely crushed North Texas last fall. This is not walk in the park for San Jose State. They have to take this game seriously, or they will lose.

  • Live Stats: Here.
  • Line: UNLV +26. Over/Under: 60.

Who would have thought that UNLV would be the 1-0 team heading into this game. UCLA is mad at its performance versus Texas A&M and need someone to take it out on.

Sacramento State-Fresno State

  • Start Time: 9:00 PM EST. Saturday, September 10.
  • Location: Bulldog Stadium, Fresno, California
  • TV: None

  • Records: Sacramento State: 0-1. Fresno State: 0-1.
  • Live Stats: Here.
  • Line: No line.

A battle of 0-1 teams, this is the type of game that Fresno State has to win and do it convincingly. Sacramento State is a solid, but not great team that the Bulldogs should dispatch of easily.

  • Records: UT Martin: 0-1. Hawai’i: 0-2.

After dropping to 0-2, this is a must win game for the Rainbow Warriors. UT Martin is no slouch, pushing Cincinnati around throughout the first half of their week one meeting.
