Sprint Football Had Almost As Many Points as Post Had Total Yards Winning 62-0

Army Sprint Football > Alabama Football… Change my mind.
The Army scoring started with a scoop and score on a Post fumble by Ryan Leach.
After another Army touchdown, the Eagles QB dropped back to pass and he was picked off by Noah Throm and he had a house call, taking it all the way back for six.
It was 21-0 and there was still 6:02 left in the first quarter.
QB Keegan West hit Tom Williamson for an easy 29 yard touchdown to make the score 28-0… Keep in mind, we are still recapping the first quarter.
The second quarter saw a change at QB. Ryan Sullivan came in and the offense didn’t miss a beat. After a rushing touchdown by Nitai Chun, Sullivan threw for two touchdowns to make it 49-0 at HALFTIME.

Two field goals in the third quarter pushed the Army lead to 55-0.
Kind of disappointed they kicked field goals… but hey can’t complain when they are winning by 55 points.
In the fourth Keegan West would throw for one more touchdown and the Black Knights would win 62-0.
So you read the title, but just how close was Army to scoring more points then Post had total yards? Post had 74 total yards of offense and three turnovers. This Army defense is absolutely insane. How do you only give up 74 total yards.
But dominating Post isn’t new for Army, in the teams last four meetings Army has won by a combined score of 230-0. You aren’t reading that wrong. Army has dropped 230 points in their last four meetings against Post.
To put that in perspective, Post has scored 226 points in their last 26 games. That dates all the way back to 2014.
The numbers being put up by Army are absolutely mind blowing.
Their next game is at home against Cornell on November 2nd. If you are in town for Army/Air Force make sure you check this team out.
